Warm, grounded, and strengths-focused – Elizabeth helps clients quiet anxious thoughts and reconnect with the strengths they already have, often over sudoku-level patience and a genuine love of the process.
A Strength-Based Place to Quiet the Noise
When you sit down with me, you’re working with a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who earned my Master of Social Work from West Virginia University. I have a special focus in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD symptoms, using cognitive reframing, challenging anxious thoughts, and building practical coping strategies. I also draw from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and a strengths-based approach, because I believe you already carry more resilience than the anxious thoughts want you to believe.
Outside of session, I have a genuine love for reading and learning, and the beach is my favorite place to be with my family. I’m working my way back into needlework as a creative outlet, and I’m always up for sudoku, crossword puzzles, or a round of Outspell. At home, I share my life with two cute Yorkies who do everything with me, including sleeping, vacationing, visiting their grandma, and trips to the park.
